With state-of-the-art facilities and individual spacious kennels, your pet will want to spend all of their vacation time with us. The fully heated and air-conditioned accomodations are designed for the health, comfort, happiness and well being of your best friend. We’re aware that all dogs and cats need their own space, but we are able to board pets from the same family in the same space, if you so desire (there’s nothing like having a pal close by when you’re in an unfamiliar place).

Plus, because your dog or cat has a particular diet, we won’t interrupt the flow – we ask you to supply us with enough food, any kind you want, to nourish your pal for the duration of his stay. For your dog’s protection and comfort, we ask that you pre-bag each day with the correct amount and type of food. This makes it easier for us to monitor your dog’s eating habits while you are away and report back to you. Just like people, dogs and cats may have special needs – and we’re able to meet most requests that our clients have. Even if your pet needs his food heated in the microwave or given medication, we’ll take care of that. Your dogs get to enjoy our 16 foot outdoor runs twice daily and can enjoy many extra fun activites and amenities at your request.

Before your pet can check in, we’ll need proof of DHLPP(dogs) or FVRCP(cats) and Rabies.You can check in anytime during our regular hours of operation.We ask that you wait until 10am or later to check out your pet. This allows your pet time to eat breakfast and take care of their morning “business” before they go home.Please check our rates, policies, and many extra fun activities and amenities. Why Kathy’s - 

* Professional staff, including some with vet experience. We are very proud that all of our staff members are very professional, know how to properly handle dogs and cats, and are very passionate about them. Several even have veterinary experience so they can recognize and handle medical issues quickly. If an issue arises, we’ll call you and let you know, and we’ll give you straight talk upon your pet’s departure. You can rest assured that your furry friend is in good hands while in our care.

* Free parking. You can pull up right in front of our building to drop off your pet. No parking meters or street parking necessary!

* Flexible pickup hours. Other places make you get there in the early afternoon (including as early as 12 pm), or force you to be there between certain hours of the day. At Kathy’s , when you’re coming to pick up your dog or cat Monday thru Friday, you can come as early as 10 am or as late as 7:30 pm, and anywhere in between. We are even open Saturdays from 8 am til 12 pm, you can pre-arrange for pick up on Sundays from 1 pm til 5 pm and, believe it or not - we are even open every holiday except Thanksgiving and Christmas.

*Large boarding suites. When you go to a hotel, you don’t want your room to be cramped. Your pet feels the same way! That’s why our boarding suites are very large and amply fit dogs and cats of all sizes, including multiple pets from the same household. Even our smaller suites are very spacious and allow your best friend to “stretch their legs.”

* Suites feature industry-leading components. Our suites have a built-in system to automatically drain away any pee accidents that may occur in the middle of the night. This is much more sanitary than the typical concrete floor where your dog may be laying in its own urine, or worse, urine from other dogs that could otherwise seep in. Plus, the walls are solid block walls (not the typical chain-link fence), so the dogs can’t see each other from side-to-side, which can lead to fence-fighting, anxiety, and excessive barking. Our cat rooms are completely separate from the dog’s area, private from fellow felines and the largest in the area. Please come check us out!

* Bring your dog or cat’s own food. A lot of boarding businesses across the country won’t let you bring your own food, and will only feed their own. This is not fun for anyone and will likely lead to an unhealthy situation, such as diarrhea, an upset stomach, weight loss, lethargy, and undue stress. When your dog stays with us, we have you to bring your own food so he’s as happy as a clam. For your dog’s protection and comfort, we ask that you pre-bag each day with the correct amount and type of food. This makes it easier for us to monitor your dog’s eating habits while you are away and report back to you.

* Familiar surroundings. If your dog or cat already comes to Kathy’s for other services such as daycare or Grooming, they will already be very comfortable in their surroundings and with our staff. That is very important to help relieve your pet’s stress while you’re out of town and will help their stay be far more enjoyable.

* Home sweet home. Our facility used to be a home, and it shows. Your dog or cat will feel right at home. No scary veterinary clinic or surgery smells or noises - our vet does all his work in his own mobile clinic - pets love it.

* Credit cards accepted. As with all of our services, Kathy’s gladly accepts credit cards.
