Boarding policies

 

Requirements (For your pet’s health and safety):

1. We require current vaccinations - Distemper/Parvo and Rabies for dogs and FVRCP and Rabies for Cats -and updated vaccination records yearly. If their records are not up to date, we have an on-call veterinarian able to administer the required vaccinations at owner’s expense. We do not require, but do recommend the bordatella vaccine (for kennel cough) .  We ask that you do not get the vaccine within a week of your pets stay.

2. We ask that you bring your pet’s own special food so as to not disrupt their daily diet. For your dog’s protection and comfort, Please pre-bag each day with the correct amount and type of food. Please make sure their names are written on the containers.This makes it easier for us to monitor your dog’s eating habits while you are away and report back to you.

3. All animals, being admitted for boarding or grooming, must be free of fleas and ticks. If they are not, they will be treated at owner’s expense.

4. Please notify us of any medical conditions or any special handling instructions. If your pet does require medications, there is an additional $1 charge for each time our staff administers a dose.

5. Please notify us if your pet is in season so that we may make the appropriate arrangements.

6. You are required to notify us of any changes to dismissal dates. Any pet left 5 days past their scheduled pick-up date, without notification, will be considered abandoned.

7. Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays we require A $50 per reservation deposit to hold your pet’s room or run. A refund of your deposit will only be given if you cancel your reservation at least 7 days prior to your scheduled check-in date. No refund is given for reservations made within the 7 days. We accept Master Card, Visa and Discover to hold your reservation.

8. Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays we require a 5 night minimum charge. Your pet(s) is/are welcome to stay for fewer nights, however, you will be billed for the full 5 nights.

9. 4th of July, Easter, Labor Day and Memorial Day Holidays we require a 3 night minimum charge. Your pet(s) is/are welcome to stay for fewer nights, however, you will be billed for the full 3 nights.

10.  We require a credit card number be left on file or deposit in case of emergency.

Optional Items and Things You Should Know:

1. You are welcome to bring toys and treats for your pal. We only ask that you limit the items to 1 per dog or cat. We are not responsible for items that are destroyed or lost; though, we will try our best to keep them intact and clean. We provide clean linens daily at no extra charge.

2. You may drop your pet(s) off anytime during our regular business hours, and pick them up anytime after 10am during regular business hours. We are open weekends and most holidays and have a boarding pick-up time on Sundays between 1pm and 5pm for your convenience.

3. If your dog(s) begins to show signs of aggression, we will first call to notify you, and then either call a local contact of your choosing to pick your pet(s) up or we will move your pet(s) to an indoor/outdoor run where we can safely tend to their needs. Additional charges apply.
